In the year 1970, our Founder, Abraham Mathew moved to Bangalore from Kannur. As he reminisced over his very first construction venture, built with handmade concrete blocks, the memory ignited a spark which eventually led to the inception of APCO Building Solutions and Allied Products in 1973.

First Machine – Trianco Ltd UK (1973)
Trianco was the first machinery that was imported to India from England.

For the first 20 years of our existence, we only manufactured Hollow Blocks. Initially, there was strong resistance from the Bangalore market. However, we firmly believed that this product would be revolutionary for the construction industry, so we stood our ground patiently as Bangalore city evolved to its fullest potential.

Second Machine – Minato Shirke (early 80’s) - 3
It is our fundamental obligation & duty to keep up with industry standards and demand when it comes to the machinery used and thus came this upgrade. In the next few years we added 2 more machines of the same to keep up with the demand of the market.

Third Machine – McGirr Engineering Ltd, N. Ireland (2004)
State of the art and fully automated egg laying block making machine. First of it’s kind in Bangalore. As, we stated earlier - It is our fundamental obligation & duty to keep up with industry standards when it comes to
the machinery used

Fourth Machine – McGirr Engineering Ltd, N. Ireland (2005)
The success and growth we saw with the purchase of our first McGirr block making machine, inspired the management to procure a second but, upgraded version of the same machine.

Fifth Machine – Besser,  USA (2011)
As the landscape around us kept changing, we didn’t want to be left behind and thus came our next plant which could churn out both solid blocks and our patented pride - Cellular Blocks.

Sixth Machine – Zenith Apollo,  Germany (2022)
It had been 10 years since we got our last machine. Our management felt a strong need for change and growth. They envisioned the future and decided to procure this fully automated multi-layer production machine that could now produce not just conventional blocks but, also every other concrete allied product like pavers, kerbs and many more. We can proudly say that this machine is the first of its kind in India.
